Service Description
Reiki, a holistic and spiritually rooted practice, is a form of energy healing that aims to restore balance and promote well-being within the body, mind, and spirit. Originating in Japan, Reiki is built upon the belief in the existence of a universal life force energy that flows through all living beings. This energy, often referred to as "ki" or "chi," is channeled by a trained practitioner through their hands, with the intention of removing energy blockages and encouraging the body's natural healing mechanisms. During a Reiki session, the recipient typically lies down fully clothed while the practitioner gently places their hands on or near various points of the body, corresponding to the energy centers or "chakras." The practitioner's touch is light and non-intrusive, focusing on facilitating the flow of energy rather than physical manipulation.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that Reiki is a stress reduction & relaxation technique. I acknowledge that sessions administered are only for the purpose of helping me relax & relieve stress. Reiki Practitioners do not diagnose conditions, nor do they prescribe substances or perform medical treatment, nor interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. It is recommended that I see a licensed physician, or licensed healthcare professional for any physical or psychological ailment or condition I may have. I also understand the body has the ability to heal itself, & to do so complete relaxation is often beneficial. Long-term imbalances in the body require multiple sessions to allow the body to reach the level of relaxation necessary to bring the system back into balance. I understand that self-improvement requires commitment on my part, & that I must be willing to change in a positive way if I am to receive the full benefit of Reiki. I consent to appropriate touch during my Reiki session
